Here are two pictures taken from a Mercedes C250cdi 2017 exhaust emission system we recently worked on.
The first is a picture of the melted ADBLUE filter and the second is of the broken up DPF filter from the exhaust exit side, this was facing the adblue filter, if you look closely at the broken DPF you can also see it actually melted the nox sensor!!
Its safe to say the owner was very lucky that no other damage was caused to the vehicle and we rescued it from becoming a disaster!
